My Tasks
The My Tasks view allows you to see, prioritize, and customize your personal task list, displaying only tasks assigned to you.

Customizing and saving your view
The My Tasks view offers several options for customization, allowing you to tailor the view to your specific needs. You can adjust filters, columns, sorting, and other display settings to better manage your task list.
For an overview of how to customize views in Fusion Online, refer to the Navigating Fusion Online page, which covers the basics of view customization and how to save your changes.
Columns and fields
Task fields that can be displayed in columns are described in the task fields documentation.
Filtering your assignments
The My Tasks view automatically filters tasks to show only those assigned to you. It includes two default filters: Assignment Start and Show Tasks Completed In.
Other filters available in task views are described on the task filters documentation page.
Assignment Start
By default, the Assignment Start filter is set to Next two weeks, but you can modify this to view a different time frame or all of your assignments.
This filter helps you focus on your upcoming tasks.
Show Tasks Completed In
The Show Tasks Completed In filter lets you include recently completed tasks in your results by selecting a time period, such as Last two weeks.
By default, this filter is set to None, meaning completed tasks are not shown in the results.
Show Managed Tasks
This Yes/No filter includes tasks where you are assigned as a task manager, in addition to tasks assigned directly to you. Set this to Yes to see both assigned and managed tasks in your task list.
Sorting your assignments
The default sort in the My Tasks view is by Assignment Schedule Order.
Other sorting options are explained on the task views documentation page.
Assignment Schedule Order
The Assignment Schedule Order sorts your assignments based on priority, as determined by the Assignment Scheduler. The scheduler factors in several metrics, including manual priorities, task criticality, and expected completion dates of predecessor tasks.
If completed tasks are also included in the view, they are sorted by their finish dates and displayed above incomplete tasks.
Prioritizing your assignments
Prioritize Mode
In the My Tasks view, you can manually prioritize tasks using the Prioritize toggle button, located in the top-right corner. When this toggle is activated, the page enters Prioritize Mode, allowing you to set manual priorities for your tasks.

In Prioritize Mode, the view is divided into two tables:
The top table displays tasks that have been assigned manual priorities.
The bottom table contains all other tasks without manual priorities.

You can use drag-and-drop functionality to move tasks between the two tables. Alternatively, you can click the pushpin next to each task to set, change, or remove manual priorities. Manual priorities are rank-ordered, starting from 1 (the highest priority).
Once you have made your changes, click the Save button to apply your updated priorities.
Prioritizing in a task view
In addition to Prioritize Mode, you can use the action menu in the Task Name column in any task view to set task priorities, as long as the task is assigned to a user and you have permission to update the user's priorities.

You can also change the task priority in the Assignee column. Clicking on the priority icon in this column allows you to change or remove the priority.

Prioritizing in Task Details
In the Task Details view, you can set or change a manual priority by clicking the priority icon to the right of the Assignee field. You can only set a priority if the task has an assignee and if you have permission to update this user's priorities.

Updates and bulk actions
Task views allow you to perform quick updates on tasks directly from the view, as well as apply bulk updates when you select multiple rows.
Updates
You can make direct changes to certain fields without leaving the task view:
Task State and Duration: Clicking on the Task State or Duration opens a modal window where you can update the task's state or duration. You can also enter a status comment in the same modal. This feature allows users to efficiently modify task status, duration, and add status comments all from one window.

Assignee: You can reassign tasks directly from the Assignee column.

Task Name: Clicking the task name opens the Task Details view. Use CTRL+Click to open the details in a new browser tab.
Bulk actions
When you select one or more tasks in the view, the following bulk update options become available:
Assign: Allows you to assign the selected tasks to a user.
Update State: Allows you to update the state of the selected tasks.
Bulk Update: Lets you select specific fields to update for the selected tasks.
Add/Edit Link: If exactly two task rows are selected, this option allows you to link the two tasks.
Delete Tasks: Deletes the selected tasks. You can only delete backlog tasks and non-project tasks with this action.

These bulk actions make it easy to update multiple tasks at once, improving efficiency when managing large task lists.
Action menu
The action menu is available in the Task Name column by clicking the menu icon next to the task name. It provides quick access to additional functionality:
View task details: Opens the Task Details page for the selected task. Clicking on the task name will open Task Details as well.
View task links: Opens the Task Links page for the selected task.
View impact chain: Opens the Impact Chain page for the selected task, helping you understand the task's dependencies.
Add a task link: Add a link to another task. You must have Update Project permission to create or edit links between tasks.
Set Task Priority: This action is available in the menu if the task is assigned to a user and you have permission to update the user's priorities. See the Prioritizing your assignments documentation for more details on how to prioritize assignments.

Gantt chart
Task views support an optional Gantt Chart that displays tasks graphically over time, aligned with the table view. The Gantt chart can be enabled or disabled based on your needs.

Gantt chart features
Zoom: Adjust the time scale for a more detailed or broader view. There's also a button to automatically scale to view all of the tasks on the current page.

Legend: Displays the meaning of colors and shapes used in the Gantt chart.

Tooltips: Hover your mouse pointer over chart elements, like task bars, links, or constraints, to get more information or to find specific actions.
Gantt chart options
Show Assignment Bar: Displays a graphical bar representing the task’s Assignment Start to Assignment Finish. The assignment bar is only visible if the task has an assignee and remaining duration. See the assignment scheduler for more information.
Show Projected Eligible Date: Displays a green triangle indicating when the task is projected to be eligible, based on its predecessor tasks.
Show Resource Dependencies: Displays the resource dependencies for tasks. The resource names will be displayed next to tasks with resource dependencies. See the resource modeling and project scheduler documentation for more information.
Show Task Links: Displays task links between tasks on the current page. If a task links to another task that is not in the current view, the link will not be displayed.
