Task Links
The Task Links view allows you to see the immediate predecessors and successors of a task. You can access this view by clicking on the Task Links tab within the Task Details view.

Layout and customization
The Task Links view shares many features with other task views, including customizable columns and view settings. For information about general task view features and customization options, visit the task views documentation page.
View types
The Task Links view can be displayed in two formats:
Table view: Displays the task links as a table similar to other task views.
Diagram view: Shows a visual diagram of task relationships.
You can switch between the two views using the button above the table or diagram:

Table view
The table view in Task Links functions similarly to other task views. However, there are some specific features unique to the Task Links view:
Search: The only available filter is the Search box, where you can search for linked tasks by partial name or task UID.
Link Type column: This column is unique to the Task Links view. It displays the type of link that connects the task in the row to the current task. The link type can be:
Finish-to-Start (FS)
Finish-to-Finish (FF)
Start-to-Start (SS)
Start-to-Finish (SF)
The column also indicates any lag or lead duration applied to the link.
Sorting: The default sort for the Task Links view is Link Type. In ascending order, predecessors appear first, followed by the current task, then successors. In descending order, this order is reversed. You can sort by other fields as well, as described in the task fields documentation.
Adding links: To add a new task link, click the + add a link button above the table or diagram. You can select a task from the project to link as either a predecessor or a successor. Note that:
You cannot link a task that is already linked to the current task.
You cannot create a link that will create a loop in the network.
Action menu: In the table view, you can add, edit, or delete links using the Task Name column’s action menu. You can also drill down to Task Links or Impact Chain for any of the tasks. These actions are similarly available in the Gantt Chart when you hover over any task bar or link.
Current task: The current task is displayed in bold within the table to differentiate it from its predecessors and successors.
Diagram view
The diagram view visually displays the current task’s relationships in a left-to-right diagram format:
Predecessors are displayed on the left.
The Current Task is in the center.
Successors are displayed on the right.

Diagram features:
Task actions: Clicking on any task node opens an action menu that allows you to edit links or navigate to the Task Links or Impact Chain of the linked task.
Link actions: Clicking on a link allows you to edit or delete the link.
Diagram actions: The diagram view includes actions to:
Zoom the diagram to make the nodes larger or smaller.
Find a specific task in the diagram.
Open the diagram in full-screen for a better viewing experience (press ESC to exit full-screen mode).
Non-editable: The diagram is not editable, meaning you cannot move nodes around.
Task Links view in the small sidebar
When viewed in the small sidebar, the linked tasks are displayed as a list of expandable cards, one for each task. Customizable columns are displayed within each expanded section.
