Checklist
The Checklist view allows you to manage the checklist tasks of a parent task. You can access this view by clicking the Checklist tab on the Task Details view.

Layout and customization
The Checklist view shares many features with other task views, including customizable columns and view settings. However, there are important differences to note:
No filtering or pagination: The Checklist View does not allow for filtering or pagination. You will see the entire checklist in this view. However, you can search and filter checklist tasks in a normal task view.
For information about general task view features and customization options, visit the task views documentation page.
Checklist options
At the top of the view, you will find options specific to managing checklists:

Checklist Duration: Displays the duration of the entire checklist. If all checklist tasks have No Duration, the checklist duration will display as No Duration. Otherwise, the duration is calculated based on the following:
If Link Tasks Finish-to-Start is selected, the duration is the sum of the checklist task durations, assuming each task depends on the previous one.
If Link Tasks Finish-to-Start is not selected, the app assumes tasks can be worked on in parallel unless they are assigned to the same person. In such cases, the duration is calculated as the longest sum of assignments for any specific assignee. If the tasks are all unassigned, the duration will be the duration of the longest individual task.
Use as Parent Duration: When this option is selected, the parent task's state and duration are automatically calculated based on the checklist tasks. These fields cannot be edited manually. If this option is not selected, the parent task's state and duration can be managed independently of the checklist. Note: This option is hidden if the checklist has No Duration.
Link Tasks Finish-to-Start: If this option is selected, each checklist task is treated as dependent on the completion of the previous task. A Finish-to-Start link is created between the tasks in the order they appear in the checklist.
Adding and managing checklist tasks
To add a new task to the checklist, click the + create new checklist task link at the top of the checklist, or simply type the task name in the last row of the checklist table.
The Task Name column behaves differently than in other task views:
You can click the task name to edit it directly in the table cell.
The action menu in the Task Name column provides the following actions:
View Task Details: Opens the task details for the checklist task. This option is disabled for tasks that have not yet been saved.
Delete: Deletes the checklist task.
Insert Task Above/Below: Inserts a new task either above or below the current task in the checklist.
Move to Top/Bottom: Moves the selected task to the top or bottom of the checklist.
Move to Position: Moves the task to a specified position within the checklist.

You can reorder checklist tasks by dragging the table row. When you hover your mouse over a checklist task row, the cursor will change to a hand icon, indicating that the row can be moved. Simply click and drag the row to a new position within the checklist.
Checklist view in the small sidebar
When viewed in the small sidebar, the checklist is displayed as a list of expandable cards, one for each checklist task. Customizable columns are displayed within each expanded section. However, drag and drop functionality is not available in the small sidebar view.
