Endpoint Details
The Endpoint Details view is a specialized version of the Task Details view, available only for tasks that serve as endpoints in a project. It includes all of the standard task information, plus additional sections and tabs that provide insight into buffer status, progress, and risk.
An endpoint represents a delivery commitment or milestone in your project schedule—such as the final project completion or a major interim deliverable. Endpoints form the targets around which the project is scheduled and can be protected by buffers that absorb variation and risk.
The additional endpoint information helps you monitor this protection and understand how actual progress compares to buffer consumption over time.

Endpoint Information
The Endpoint Information section appears near the top of the Task Details for endpoint tasks. It provides a quick summary of buffer and progress data for the endpoint’s critical chain.

For complete definitions of these and other related fields, see Endpoint fields.
