Resource fields

This page describes the available fields related to resources in Fusion Online. Many of these fields can be displayed as columns in resource views and can also be found in the Resource Details view. Additionally, we indicate which fields are available for sorting.

% Critical

  • Description: The percentage of the resource’s load within the Load Period that is composed of Critical Chain tasks.

  • Available in: Resource views

Avg Critical Load

  • Description: The average percentage of the resource’s load, calculated as load divided by available units, composed of Critical Chain tasks during the Load Period.

  • Available in: Resource views, Load Graph

Avg Critical Units

  • Description: The average number of load units assigned to the resource, composed of Critical Chain tasks during the Load Period.

  • Available in: Resource views, Load Graph

Avg Load

  • Description: The average percentage of the resource’s load, calculated as load divided by available units, during the Load Period.

  • Available in: Resource views, Load Graph

Avg Units Assigned

  • Description: The average number of units of load assigned during the Load Period.

  • Available in: Resource views

Avg Units Available

  • Description: The average number of units of the resource available over the Load Period.

  • Available in: Resource views, Load Graph

Calendar

  • Description: The name of the calendar associated with this resource.

  • Available in: Resource views, Resource Details (editable)

  • Sortable: Yes.

Child Resources

  • Description: The name of the calendar associated with this resource.

  • Available in: Resource views, Resource Details (editable)

  • Sortable: Yes.

Critical Tasks

  • Description: The number of critical tasks that apply load to the resource over the Load Period.

  • Available in: Resource views

Custom Fields

  • Description: Fields configured by the system administrator. Custom fields can be added as columns in resource views and edited in Resource Details.

  • Available in: Resource views, Resource Details (editable).

  • Sortable: Yes.

  • Filterable: Yes.

Incomplete Tasks

  • Description: The number of incomplete tasks that apply load to the resource during the Load Period.

  • Available in: Resource views

Max Units

  • Description: The maximum number of units available for this resource.

  • Available in: Resource views, Resource Details (editable)

  • Sortable: Yes.

Name

  • Description: The resource name.

  • Available in: Resource views, Resource Details (editable)

  • Sortable: Yes.

Parent Resource

  • Description: The parent resource. Any load on this resource is also given to its parent resource.

  • Available in: Resource views, Resource Details (editable)

  • Sortable: Yes.

Peak Load 1w

  • Description: The highest weekly load percentage, calculated as load divided by available units, across the Load Period.

  • Available in: Resource views, Load Graph

Peak Load 4w

  • Description: The highest load percentage for any four-week period, calculated as load divided by available units, across the Load Period.

  • Available in: Resource views, Load Graph

Peak Load 8w

  • Description: The highest load percentage for any eight-week period, calculated as load divided by available units, across the Load Period.

  • Available in: Resource views, Load Graph

Peak Load 12w

  • Description: The highest load percentage for any twelve-week period, calculated as load divided by available units, across the Load Period.

  • Available in: Resource views, Load Graph

Peak Units Required

  • Description: The maximum number of units required across all weeks of the project.

  • Available in: Resource views

Project (abbreviation)

  • Description: Displays the project abbreviation and color badge. Clicking on the badge opens the Project Details. Use this column instead of Project (full name) if you want to save space in your table.

  • Available in: Resource views.

  • Sortable: Yes.

  • Filterable: Yes.

Project (full name)

  • Description: Displays the full name of the project. Clicking on the project name opens the Project Details.

  • Available in: Resource views, Resource Details.

  • Sortable: Yes.

  • Filterable: Yes.

Resource Groups

  • Description: Displays the resource groups to which the resource belongs. Click on the field in Resource Details to open a selection list to assign resource groups.

  • Available in: Resource views, Resource Details (editable).

  • Sortable: Yes.

  • Filterable: Yes.

  • Description: Displays the resource managers assigned to the resource. Click on the field in Resource Details to open a selection list to assign managers.

Tasks

  • Description: The number of tasks applying load to the resource during the Load Period.
