Buffer History
The Buffer History tab appears in the Task Details view when the task is an endpoint. It displays a chronological record of all project updates and reschedules related to that endpoint, allowing you to track how buffer status, chain progress, and landing zone projections have changed over time.

Purpose
This view helps you understand how your project’s buffer performance has evolved between updates. You can review buffer trends, see how finish projections have shifted, and open detailed comparisons between update events.
Layout and key elements
The Buffer History tab is divided into two main panels:
1. Update list (left panel)
The list shows one row per update or reschedule event, sorted by update date. Each row includes summary fields.
For complete definitions of these and other related fields, see Endpoint fields.
You can click any row to open the full details for that update in the right panel.
2. Update details (right panel)
When a record is selected, the right panel displays the complete endpoint metrics and associated comment for that update.
You can edit update comments directly in this view.
Action menu
The action menu (three-dot icon) on each row provides additional options:
View differences: Opens the Network Differences dialog, which compares changes between two history records. You can select another history record to compare against the selected one. The Network Differences report tracks changes such as task additions or deletions, duration adjustments, task name modifications, and link changes. A project network snapshot is taken with every Update Schedule or Reschedule, allowing for detailed comparisons between history records.
Delete history record: Deletes the selected history record and any associated status points.
The most recent record cannot be deleted.
The most recent Reschedule record cannot be deleted.
Sorting and filtering
Use the Show: Latest First / Oldest First toggle to reverse the order of updates. Pagination controls at the bottom of the list allow navigation through longer histories.
