Upload and download a project

The Schedule Manager in Fusion Desktop allows you to transfer Microsoft Project (MPP) files between your desktop and Fusion Online. This guide explains how to upload a project to Fusion Online and download or check out a project from Fusion Online.

For advanced details, refer to the Fusion Desktop User's Guide.

1. Set Up Your Connection

Before transferring files, ensure Fusion Desktop is connected to Fusion Online. If you have not yet set up a connection, follow the steps in Connect Fusion Desktop to Fusion Online.

Once connected:

  • The right pane will display all projects you have permission to view in Fusion Online.

  • The left pane shows your local file system.

  • Use the magnifying glass icon (top center of the left pane) to select the folder where your Microsoft Project (MPP) files are stored.

You can swap the pane layout so that Fusion Online appears in the left pane and your local MPP folder is on the right pane.
