Share views with other users

Fusion Online makes it easy to share your work context with others by letting you send a direct link to a copy of a custom view’s settings. When someone opens the link, they’ll see the same filters, columns, and sort order that you were using when you shared it.

This does not create a live, public view. It’s a one-time snapshot of the view settings. If you make changes to your view later, others will not see those changes unless you share a new link.

How to share a view

You can share any view in the Views section (i.e., custom views you created):

  1. Open the view you want to share.

  2. Click the action menu (...) in the top-right corner of the screen.

  3. Select Share View Link.

  4. A shareable link will be copied to your clipboard.

  5. Paste the link into an email, chat message, or comment to send it to another user.

When someone opens the link, they'll see the same filters, columns, and sort settings applied to that view. They can choose to save the view to their own list if they want to keep it for future use.

Important notes

  • Shared views only work with custom views under the Views section.

    • You cannot share Workspace views like My Tasks, My Team, or My Endpoints using this feature.

  • The data shown in a shared view depends on the viewer’s own permissions. If someone doesn't have access to certain projects, tasks, or fields, those will not be visible when they open the shared view.

Why share a view?

Sharing a view is helpful when you want to:

  • Direct someone to a filtered list of tasks to review or update

  • Collaborate on a plan using the same visual and data structure

  • Show someone exactly what you’re seeing, reducing confusion or back-and-forth

  • Share a reusable reporting format across your team
