Username/Password authentication
Username/Password authentication is the legacy authentication system for Fusion Online. This method was used by customers who signed up before the introduction of Fusion Identity. If your organization still uses this method, you can contact ProChain support to transition to Fusion Identity. ProChain will also reach out to customers individually to assist with the transition.
Setting Up Your Username and Password
When you accept your invitation to Fusion Online by clicking on the email link, you will be prompted to:
Choose a username and password
Provide your first name and last name
This completes the setup of your account, and you’ll be ready to log in with your newly created credentials.

Logging In
On the login screen, you will enter your username and password to access Fusion Online. This screen is customizable:
Your company logo will be displayed (configurable via the System Options page).
The page will also show the support contact email for your organization, which users can use to reach out for assistance with access or other issues. This email address is also configurable via the System Options page.

Forgot Password
The login screen provides a self-service forgot password link. If you forget your password, you can reset it by following this link, which will guide you through the steps to create a new password.
User Profiles
If your Fusion Online instance uses username/password authentication, your user profile and password are unique to that instance of Fusion Online. This means that your credentials will not be shared across other Fusion Online instances.
In addition, with username/password authentication, your username serves as your unique identifier. However, if your organization transitions to Fusion Identity, the email address will become the unique identifier for your user account, and the username field will no longer be used or displayed in the system.
